Ewe who it's cauliflower???

If your kids are anything like mine they really don't like cauliflower. I have found the most delicious way to make cauliflower my kids can't get enough. Well Devynn doesn't care for it but I am pretty sure mice eat more than that little girl! Anyway this is a quick and easy way for your family to ENJOY cauliflower.

1 cauliflower head washed
1 c shredded cheese (mild)
1/2 c mayo
1/3 c mustard

put cauliflower in microwave safe bowl and heat for 4 minutes. Mix mayo and mustard together, then spread over cauliflower followed by shredded cheese. Heat again for 4 more minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes. Serve

Hope you enjoy!

House Cleaning~~~ The never ending story!

My house for me is truly a place where my heart is. It's a place where I try to make happy to be! A place that helps me forget the stress and hard work of the day and make wonderful memories with my girls. I love my house and try to keep it clean as much as possible. It doesn't always work out that way. I am so blessed to have my two older daughters to help. I feel so much better about myself when my house is clean. Lately I have been slacking. The sadness of moving has kinda left me in a funk! I have just kinda surface cleaned the past few weekends and well it shows! So I have done some research online and found these awesome steps that only take about a minute to do. So if I do a couple of these each night after work along with my normal stuff I might have a clean house by Friday~!
1. Cleaning Mirrors- Vinegar and newspaper. A house always looks cleaner if the mirrors are clean.
2. Cleaning the Microwave- Fill up a cup of water and put it in on high for a few minutes. The steam from the cup will loosen any stuck on food. I do this often and it's so simple.
3. Cleaning the fridge- Toss out any bad food. Then start wiping down the top shelves and work down. Baking soda and water are a great cleaner and won't leave the fridge smelling like cleaner. After you wipe out the crispers put a paper towel in each drawer for easier cleaning next time.
4. Cleaning the bathroom- yuck- I have used lemon oil to shine the tiles in my bathroom. It also prevents mildew and mold. Sometimes I get hard water on my faucets. I am going to try to use a plastic bag with vinegar and place it over the shower head for a day and see if that removes it. They say alcohol shines faucets.
5. TOILET- I hate the toilet and so do my girls. So I am trying this as soon as I get home. Pour some cleaner in the bowl to soak. Then wipe down the seat and outside of the bowl with an antibacterial wipe or spray cleaner. After that scrub the bowl out with a brush and finally wipe evderything down with a dry towel to make it shine! Sounds easy enough huh? I will let ya know.
Hopefully this will help all. If any of you have any tips to share PLEASE feel free! I need all the help I can get!

My first post!

I am not sure how this is going to pan out but I am giving it a shot. I want a place for people to go where they can get to know me for me! And not have to worry about all of Facebook seeing my thoughts. I have several life changing events coming up and am thinking this could be a good outlet for me so that I really don't go crazy. I also want to share recipes, books, tips, and such on here. So I guess here goes nothin!!!
